3.7 Describe your plans and actions taken to reduce scope 1 & 2 emissions.

*
Our footprint is small and can feel hard to control given our size. We already have a renewable energy supplier for our small office. In the year 24/25 our near term plan is to understand our emissions and improve our measurement and data, this will be an ongoing goal. In 25/26 we plan on investigating investment opportunities including green roof insulation and solar panels for our small office. In this year we also plan to consider a shared e-bike for the company as many of our local meetings are easier by bike. Finally, we plan to improve the understanding of our suppliers commitment to the climate and want to include an estimate of emissions from our subcontractors.

3.8 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy, including any tools/methods used to calculate.

*
We have used the guidance provided to create a simple spreadsheet which lists scope 2 activities by KWh based on manufacture guidance where possible (laptop, LED lights etc), estimated where not. This is followed by GHG conversion. We have estimated hours per day and days per year.

4.1 Have you measured any of your scope 3 emissions?

*
Yes

4.1.7 Business travel

*
35.4 metric tons CO2e

Customer related - downstream emissions

4.1.17 Do you have a plan and are taking action to reduce emissions from your value chain?

*

Yes

Our plan is to 1) understand our supply chain emissions better and then 2) understand the actions our suppliers are taking. We have a preferred suppliers policy and want to be able to gather the data required to put it into action for the top 25% of our suppliers.

4.2 Have you asked any of your suppliers to set a net zero target (either voluntarily or as a requirement)?

*
No

4.3 Have you communicated your commitment and actions to any of your customers?

*
No

4.4 Describe the calculation methodology and comment on the data accuracy and any tools used to calculate your scope 3 emissions.

*
For scope 3 business travel has been calculated based on actual journeys but using crow flies distance for rail and google maps for bus, car and bike. Home working (not required in this report but estimated at 0.1kgCO2e) has been calculated on an FTE basis using the guidance provided.
